Poverty continues to be a significant challenge in Indonesia, especially for communities that are marginalized and struggle to gain access to business capital. Microloans are a strategic approach that can meet financial needs while having the capacity to evolve into a comprehensive form of church ministry based on Christian principles. This research aims to analyze and explain the function of microloans as an access ministry in the context of Christian ethics, which addresses the economic needs of the underprivileged while fulfilling the church's mandate to provide holistic ministry. Then, to show that microloans can be a strategic instrument to achieve social transformation through Biblical values, as well as a tangible manifestation of love and justice in contemporary society. This article uses a qualitative approach through a literature review to look at the function of microloans as a ministry of the church within the framework of economic empowerment and social justice. Grounded in the principle of love (Matthew 22:37-40) and the cultural mandate (Genesis 1:28), microloans become an alternative expression of the church's mission to restore dignity and improve the welfare of the poor, opening opportunities for evangelism and expanding the impact of holistic ministry amid contemporary socio-economic challenges.
