Sebuah Refleksi Teologis Karya Penebusan Kristus

Abstract: This paper aims to explore Ephesians 1:3-14 through the lens of redemptive historical approach and reflect theologically on the redemptive work of Christ. Ephesians 1:3-14 is a soteriological elaboration by Paul. Ephesians 1:3-14 affirms the spiritual blessings, election, redemption and sealing that believers receive. On the one hand, the redemptive historical approach is a hermeneutical lens to view the Bible from the history of redemption. This redemptive history in the Bible culminates in the work of Christ on the cross. The hermeneutical approach integrates three important things: textual, epochal and canonical. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, the author will explore Ephesians 1:3-14 through a redemptive historical approach and then reflect theologically on the redemptive work of Christ. The author states that the exploration of Ephesians 1:3-14 through a redemptive historical approach provides a significant reflection on the redemptive work of Christ. This paper contributes a new reading of Ephesians 1:3-14 through a redemptive historical perspective and provides a more integrative and historical theological framework in understanding the redemption of Christ.
Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi Efesus 1:3-14 melalui lensa redemptive historical approach dan merefleksikannya secara teologis pada karya penebusan Kristus. Efesus 1:3-14 merupakan elaborasi soteriologis yang diulas oleh Paulus. Efesus 1:3-14 menegaskan tentang berkat rohani, pemilihan, penebusan dan pemeteraian yang didapatkan oleh orang percaya. Di satu sisi, redemptive historical approach merupakan lensa hermeneutis untuk melihat Alkitab dari sejarah penebusan. Sejarah penebusan di dalam Alkitab ini berpuncak kepada karya Kristus di atas kayu salib. Pendekatan hermeneutis tersebut mengintegrasikan tiga hal penting yaitu tekstual, epokal dan kanonikal. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, Peneliti akan melakukan eksplorasi Efesus 1:3-14 melalui redemptive historical approach kemudian merefleksikannya secara teologis pada karya penebusan Kristus. Peneliti menyatakan bahwa eksplorasi Efesus 1:3-14 melalui redemptive historical approach memberikan refleksi teologis yang signifikan bagi karya penebusan Kristus. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi pembacaan baru atas Efesus 1:3-14 melalui perspektif redemptive historical dan memberikan kerangka teologis yang lebih integratif dan historis dalam memahami penebusan Kristus
